This carried-article holder (10) is for carrying in a bag (1) a carried article such as a folding umbrella (U), and is provided with: a holder main body (11) that is formed into a bottomed cylinder comprising a bottom section (112) and a peripheral wall section (111) of which the top is open; a first engagement member (12) provided to the outside of the peripheral wall section (111) of the holder main body (11); and a second engagement member (13) that is provided to the bag (1) and that engages the first engagement member (12). The carried-article holder (10) is characterized by being provided in a manner so as to able to be attached to and removed from the bag (1) by means of the first engagement member (12) and the second engagement member (13). As a result, by means of attaching the carried-article holder to the bag and housing a carried article in the carried-article holder, it is possible to carry the carried article without holding the carried article by hand.
