Provided is a method for accurately measuring the cutting force generated between a tool and a material to be cut while the material to be cut is being cut by means of a 5-axis cutting device by tilting, rotating and moving said material to be cut. An acceleration sensor is attached to a material-to-be-cut securing tool or a processing table incorporated with a force sensor, and the cutting force is calculated so as to cancel the influence of the inertia force of the weight of the secured tool and the material to be cut due to the cutting movement by measuring the acceleration value of the table. Anomalies during the cutting operation are detected by means of the difference value between the measured cutting force and the theoretical cutting force.
