The device has a motorized unit i.e. motor (10), providing movement between a tensioning component and a parallelepiped shaped test piece (1). An application unit i.e. frame (14), allows the component to be in support against the piece, where the piece is carried by the application unit. The component is arranged in a rotary pin (2) rotated by the motorized unit. The piece and application unit are movable in translation between loading position in which the piece is located at distance from the pin and application position in which the piece is maintained in support against the pin.
