The present invention relates to a user interactive medical image storing/transmitting system and a medical image display method using same. The medical image storing/transmitting system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first medical image storing unit that stores first medical images for 2D display; a second medical image storing unit that stores second medical images for 3D display related to the first medical images and 3D matching points matched with 2D medical image coordinates for the first medical images; and a preprocessing unit that calculates the 3D matching points matched with the 2D medical image coordinates by using the second medical images and provides the calculated 3D matching points to the second medical image storing unit. The system further includes a client terminal that displays 2D medical images on a screen by using the first medical images, creates the 2D medical image coordinates for the 2D medical images displayed on the screen, and transmits the created coordinates to the second medical image storing unit or the preprocessing unit. Thus, the present invention may implement a linkage between a 2D medical image and a 3D medical image by using a user interactive technique and thus enhances the displaying speed of the 3D medical image that is matched with the 2D medical image through the linkage between the 2D and 3D medical images.
