A cap (10) for a container is provided. The cap includes a handling portion (14) configured to engage about a dispensing opening (16) of the container. The cap also includes an extendible spout (20) having a discharge passage (26). The extendible spout has a proximal end with a proximal opening (38) affixed to the cap. The extendible spout also has a distal (22) end with a distal opening (24), and is configured to extend from and retract at least partially into the cap (10). The extendible spout is further configured to dispense a pourable material from the container when the distal end (22) of the extendible spout is at least partially extended from the cap.
