A multi-functional tool-carrier rotary head (1) is described, for glass (3) working applications, equipped with a plurality of diamond tools (5, 7, 9, 11) and with at least one water-cutting type spindle (13) composed of at least one high-pressure valve (15), at least one abrasive head (16) and at least one nozzle (18) for exiting high-pressure water (19) with abrasive. A system is further described, for cutting glass slabs (3) through high-pressure water comprising the rotary head (1) and a device (20) for reducing energy of the high-pressure water (19).
