A corrosion resistance chromium layer structure is obtained by electrochemically applying metallic layers including gold or nickel layer having thickness of 0.01-3 mu m, nickel-phosphorus alloy layer having thickness of 2-30 mu m, again gold or nickel layer having thickness of 0.01-3 mu m, and chromium layer having thickness of 2-30 mu m, on metallic carrier. An independent claim is included for preparation of chromium layer structure.
