The oscillating cutter blade unit has two rigidly interconnected blades arranged parallel to one another at a distance from one another. The distance lies between the ranges of 0.5-2 m. The blades are made separately and welded adjacent to a receiving opening for attachment to drive shaft of drive unit. An independent claim is included for method for removing glass from window or door casement glazed with insulating glass.
