PURPOSE: A contents detail controlling method and a supporting portable terminal are provided to conveniently search a specific area of contents and easily use a function which detail establishment is necessary.;CONSTITUTION: A displaying unit(141) outputs a main slider including a sliding path of constant length for constant area designation of contents and a sub slider expanding a part of the sliding path of the main slider. An inputting unit(120) and/or a touch panel(143) generates a signal which selectively outputs the sub slider to a displaying panel. A controlling unit(160) outputs the sub slider according to the signal generation.
