PURPOSE: A two-photon fluorescent probe and a method for imaging thiols in mitochondria using the same are provided to ensure strong fluorescence by reaction with thiols.;CONSTITUTION: A two-photon fluorescent probe is denoted by chemical formula 1. The probe is selectively dyed by mitochondria. A method for preparing the probe comprises: a step of dissolving compounds of chemical formulas 2 and 3 in nitrobenzene and stirring to prepare a compound of chemical formula 4; a step of reaction of the compound of chemical formula 4 with a compound of chemical formula 5 to prepare a compound of chemical formula 6; a step of mixing pyridine and a compound of chemical formula 7 to the compound of chemical formula 6; a step of adding N,N-dimethyl aminopyridine(DMAP) and stirring to prepare a compound of chemical formula 8; a step of dissolving the compound of chemical formula 8 in a solvent and evaporating the solvent.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
