PURPOSE: A portable terminal application is provided to execute a specially selected program by recognizing the rhythm of touch from the surface of a portable terminal.;CONSTITUTION: Specific rhythm is stored in a portable terminal when an execution screen is turned on. When the specific rhythm is selected by executing an application, the portable terminal recognizes the selected rhythm. The portable terminal executes the stored function by recognizing the rhythm. The function is executed by the rhythm of the portable terminal. When the application is turned on, the rhythm is recognized.
