PURPOSE: A battery management apparatus of a mobile system and method thereof are provided to guarantee the usage time of important applications by selectively restricting the energy usage of a less important application.;CONSTITUTION: A battery management unit(102) manages guarantee time and the importance information for each application. A battery state service unit calculates the energy resource usage of each application. The battery state service unit determines the battery state by confirming the residual capacity of the battery.
