PURPOSE: A power remote switching system of a provider for performing power leakage detection and power remote switching is provided to reduce electrical safety accidents by cutting off a power supply when a short circuit is generated in power facilities. CONSTITUTION: Remote switches(107,112,117,122,127) are installed between a low voltage service wire(102) and watt-hour meters(111,116,121,126,131). The remote switch selectively blocks supplied power. An administrator PC(106) includes a power supply remote control program corresponding to the policy of a power provider. A center communication device(105) communicates with the administrator PC by RS232. A plurality of intermediate communication devices(103) communicates the command of the administrator PC with a power line communication line device of all switching controllers by power line communications.
