PURPOSE: A device for inspecting surface friction is provided to minimize a separation phenomenon of a plating layer when measuring a friction coefficient of a plate shaped steel material, thereby obtaining the accurate friction coefficient by improving measurement reliability.;CONSTITUTION: A device for inspecting surface friction comprises a specimen fixing unit(100) and a specimen tension unit(200). The specimen fixing unit vertically pressurizes a plate shaped specimen while laying down the specimen, thereby fixing the specimen. The specimen tension unit comprises a gripper(210). The gripper grips one end portion of the specimen. The other end portion of the specimen is fixed to the specimen fixing unit.
