PURPOSE: An electronic book system, electronic book data creation and searching apparatus, and method thereof are provided to input an electronic document including complex layouts into a search engine by creating electronic book data.;CONSTITUTION: An electronic document input unit(310) receives electronic documents. A data extraction unit(320) extracts a coordinate value of an object and the object included in the electronic document. A group setting unit(330) creates a group by clustering the objects based on a coordinate value of the object. A line discrimination unit(340) identifies an object corresponding to the same line by analyzing the coordinate value of the object in the group.
