CARGO HOLD FOR A LIQUEFIED GAS CARRIER SHIP WITH LAMINATED INSULATION PANELS

PURPOSE: A cargo hold for a liquefied gas carrier ship is provided to remove thermal stress between an auxiliary barrier and an auxiliary panel by coupling a lower insulation panel structure and an upper insulation panel structure with a coupling unit without attaching the auxiliary barrier and the auxiliary panel.;CONSTITUTION: A cargo hold for a liquefied gas carrier ship comprises a main barrier(10), an insulation panel assembly(20), and an outer wall(30). The insulation panel assembly comprises an upper insulation panel structure(22), a lower insulation panel structure(21), an auxiliary barrier(400), and a coupling unit(23). The auxiliary barrier is positioned between the upper insulation panel structure and the lower insulation panel structure. The coupling unit couples the lower insulation panel structure and the upper insulation panel structure and includes a moving block coupling with the auxiliary barrier. The moving block slides according to the thermal shrinkage or thermal expansion of the auxiliary barrier.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
