The present invention replaces an anchor strip provided in a conventional conventional liquefied gas cargo hold with a heat protection member, and the heat protection member effectively damages an upper heat insulation panel from fire and heat transfer generated at the time of membrane welding. The heat protection member is made of a composite material in which a glass cloth is bonded on an aluminum foil to reduce the weight of the cargo hold, as well as to increase the fixing force of the membrane. Omission of anchor strips eliminates the need for rivets, improving workability and reducing manufacturing costs. A heat insulating structure of a liquefied gas cargo hold includes a plurality of unit heat insulating panel assemblies including a lower heat insulating panel, an upper heat insulating panel that is laminated on the lower heat insulating panel, and a membrane that is fixed to the upper heat insulating panel by welding. The anchor strip is removed, and the heat protection member is installed in the groove 123 of the upper heat insulation panel. [Selection] Figure 4
