METHOD FOR ISOLATING NEURAL PROGENITOR CELLS FROM PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS AND CULTURING THE NEURAL PROGENITOR CELLS

PURPOSE: A method for purely isolating nerve progenitor cells from pluripotent stem cells and culturing the nerve progenitor cells is provided to ensure low tumor formation ability and excellent differentiation and division abilities.;CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating neural progenitor cells from pluritotent stem cells comprises: a step of differentiating the pluripotent stem cells into neural rosette to obtain cell population containing the neural progenitor cells; a step of contacting PSA-NCAM(poly-sialated neural cell adhesion molecule) antibody to the cell population; and a step of isolating PSA-NCAM antibody-conjugated cells. The pluripotent stem cells are embryonic stem cells, embryonic germ cells, embryonic carcinoma cells, or iPSCs(induced pluripotent stem cells).
