PURPOSE: Fire-extinguishing agent collecting system and method capable of recycling or discarding a fire-extinguishing agent are provided to stably collect the total amount of fire-extinguishing agent using a refrigerating system.;CONSTITUTION: A fire-extinguishing agent collecting system includes a refrigerating system(100), a storage tank(300), a sensor unit, and a control panel. The refrigerating system receives a fire-extinguishing agent stored inside a cylinder, and decreases the temperature and the pressure of the fire-extinguishing agent. The refrigerating system includes a heat-exchanger(120) and a compressor(130). The storage tank collects the low-temperature/low pressure fire-extinguishing agent from the refrigerating system. The sensor detects the temperature and the pressure of the storage tank, and the temperature of the refrigerating system.
