CLINO METER AND A METHOD FOR MEASURING A STRIKE AND TILT ANGLE OF A FAULT BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A clino meter and a method for measuring a strike and tilt angle by using the same are provided to directly read an inclination gradation pointed by an inclination measurement sphere when measuring a tilt angle by fixing an inclination gradation to a clino meter in advance, thereby easily measuring the tilt angle of a fault.;CONSTITUTION: A clino meter comprises a base plate(100) and compass(200). The compass measure a strike and tilt angle by being installed on the base plate. The compass comprises a first case and second case. The first case is installed to be rotated on the base plate, thereby moving a strike gradation marked on an edge to a specific position. The second case is installed in the inside of the first case and fixes the inclination gradation marked on the edge at the specific position by being fixed to the base plate. The second case comprises a strike measuring probe and inclination measuring sphere. The strike measuring probe is rotated by magnetic force and specifies the strike gradation. The inclination measuring sphere is moved by gravity, thereby specifying the inclination gradation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
