PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing glycerol impregnated hybrid coal with high caloric values and the hybrid coal are provided to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide exhausted from coal power plants.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing glycerol impregnated hybrid coal with high caloric values includes the following steps: glycerol from biodiesel producing processes is kneaded to form a paste; the paste is aged under room temperature and atmospheric pressure for 5-240 hours; the aged paste is pre-dried; the pre-dried paste is introduced into a drier to simultaneously dry coal and glycerol; and glycerol is impregnated in hydrophilic pores and on hydrophobic surfaces of the coal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Comparative example 2; (BB) Example 1; (CC) Example 2; (DD) DV/dlog(D) Pore/Volume (cm^3/g); (EE) Pore diameter(A)
