PURPOSE: An intelligent walking aid robot is provided to sense obstacles through an ultrasonic sensor and to adjust walking direction and speed. CONSTITUTION: An intelligent walking aid robot comprises a semi-arc shaped lumbar support(10), an armrest(20), a key button part(30), a diaper type support(40), a variable resistance sensor unit, a power supply unit(60), a wheel part(70), a first drive motor(80), a second driver motor(90), a height adjuster, and a control box part(110). The semi-arc shaped lumbar support comprises a plurality of frames. The armrest secondly supports the body of a user. The key button part selects ascending and descending operations. The diaper type support supports the waist of the user. The first and second drive motors generate rotary power. The height adjuster adjusts the height of the diaper type support according to the body size of the user. The control box part controls the transmission of an ascending and descending output signal.
