PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the flow direction of a side thruster is provided to improve the steering performance of a ship in docking or undocking by controlling the direction of flow discharged from a side thruster with multiple louvers not to be flowed between an inner wall of a dock and a portside of a ship in docking or undocking.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling the flow direction of a side thruster comprises a tunnel, multiple louvers(110), and a driving part(120). A side thruster is installed in the tunnel. The tunnel is formed in a longitudinal direction of a ship. The louvers are rotatably coupled in an entrance of the tunnel in a row to control the direction of flow generated from the side thruster. The driving part provides rotating force by which the steering angle of the louvers can be controlled to the louvers.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
