PURPOSE: A pulverized coal injection lance for a blast furnace and a blast furnace operation method thereof are provided to increase the injection quantity of pulverized coal by smoothly mixing pulverized coal and cooling gas due to the active turbulence formed by cooling gas blown out from a lance. CONSTITUTION: A pulverized coal injection lance for a blast furnace includes an outer pipe(10), an inner tube(23), and a swirler(30). The outer pipe blows the cooling gas. The inner tube inserted into the inside of the outer pipe transfers and discharges pulverized coal together with carrier gas. The swirler is installed in between the inner pipe and the outer pipe.
