PURPOSE: A sliding door for buses is provided to manufacture a door body using SMC(Sheet Molding Compound) with low specific gravity rather than using steel, aluminum, magnesium, or ordinary SMC, thereby reducing weight by more than fifteen percent compared to previous technologies.;CONSTITUTION: A sliding door for buses comprises a door body(10) and a glass supporting unit. The door body includes an interior panel(12) and an exterior panel(11) which are made of SMC(Sheet Molding Compound) with low specific gravity and affixed to each other by an adhesive.
