STANDARD MARKER FOR DETERMINING ORIGIN AND AGE OF PROCESSED GINSENG AND A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE ORIGIN AND AGE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A standard marker for determining origin or age of processed ginseng and a method for determining the origin or age are provided to quickly analyze and compare the origin or age of the processed ginseng such as a concentrate liquid and a power.;CONSTITUTION: A marker of chemical formula 1 or 2 for determining origin of raw ginseng is used for distinguishing domestic ginseng and Chinese ginseng. A compound of chemical formula 1 is a marker for identifying domestic ginseng. A compound of chemical formula 2 is a marker for identifying Chinese ginseng. A method for establishing the marker comprises: a step of extracting a metabolite from the domestic ginseng and Chinese ginseng; a step of analyzing the metabolite by a liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer(LC-MS); and a step of detecting ingredients with difference between two groups and selecting an ingredient with largest difference.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
