PURPOSE: A method for measuring the storage stability of carbon dioxide hydrate and a method for selecting a storage site are provided to review project feasibility on discrete sites from a trial initial step by calculating the storage stability of carbon dioxide on specific sites regarding carbon dioxide hydrate storing. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the storage stability of carbon dioxide hydrate is as follows. Factors influencing the storage stability of the carbon dioxide hydrate in an environment where the carbon dioxide hydrate is stored are measured(S10). Based on the measured factors, the phase equilibrium conditions of the environment are measured(S30). Based on the measured factors and the measured phase equilibrium conditions, the storage stability of the carbon dioxide hydrate in the environment is calculated(S50).
