INTERGRATED ADVANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD USING UPFLOW FILTRATION TYPE

PURPOSE: An integrated advanced wastewater treatment apparatus is provided to reduce site area by 1/2 or more than conventional treatment processes and to remarkably reduce maintenance cost by not needing operation power. CONSTITUTION: An integrated advanced wastewater treatment apparatus comprises a mixer(2), a filter(3), a reverse-wash apparatus by an air-lift method, a control part, and a chemical-supply apparatus. Final effluent water, added chemicals, and carbon sources are mixed in the mixer. The mixed water flows to a lower part, is uniformly distributed through a distribution pipe, and is upflow-filtered through a filtration layer. The reverse-wash apparatus is installed in the filter. The control part analyzes the water quality of the mixed water and treated water and controls online. The chemical-supply apparatus automatically supplies chemicals and carbon source by the control.
