ANTIROLLING TANK WITH A FLOW BLOCKAGE UNIT AND AN OFFSHORE STRUCTURE WITH THE SAME CAPABLE OF REDUCING THE ROLLING OF AN OFFSHORE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: An antirolling tank with a flow blockage unit and an offshore structure with the same are provided to quickly restrict the flow of fluid in the antirolling tank and to reduce vibration because housing area has high rigidity on a vibration mode in which an offshore structure moves forward and backward.;CONSTITUTION: An antirolling tank(20) with a flow blockage unit(30) comprises a tank body(21). The tank body is laterally extended in the hull of an offshore structure to receive fluid. The flow blockage unit is installed in the tank body to selectively restrict the flow of the fluid. The flow blockage unit has a shutter device to block the flow of the fluid while multiple shutter panels are guided by a guide.
