PURPOSE: An analog digital converter, an image sensor including the same, and an apparatus including an image sensor are provided to reduce the amount of a needed area and power consumption by forming one circuit operating as sigma-delta ADC and cyclic ADC.;CONSTITUTION: A signal processing unit(102) responds to input voltage and DAC output voltage in a sigma-delta operation section, and generates calculation amplifier output voltage. The signal processing unit responds to calculation amplifier output voltage and DAC output voltage which have done feedback in a cyclic operation section, and generates calculation amplifier output voltage. A control unit(104) compares calculation amplifier output voltage with a first reference voltage, and generates a DAC control signal. The control unit compares calculation amplifier output voltage with a second and third reference voltage, and generates the DAC control signal. The control unit obtains data of high-rank M bit and data of low-rank N bit.
