摘要

PURPOSE: A novel endoglucanase derived from Paenibacillus sp. EC138 is provided to be used in various industrial fields including paper, pulp, detergent, biomaterial, and bioenergy industries.;CONSTITUTION: An endoglucanase has an amino acid of sequence number 1. The enzyme is derived from Paenibacillus sp. EC138(KCTC 11983BP). An endoglucanase gene encoding an amino acid of sequence number 1 has a base of sequence number 2. A recombinant vector contains the endoglucanase gene. A recombinant microorganism containing the endoglucanase gene is prepared through transformation by the recombinant vector. Endoglucanase is produced by culturing the recombinant microorganism. The enzyme is used for decomposing carboxylmethyl cellulose. The Paenibacillus sp. EC138(KCTC11983BP) strain which can decompose cellulose has 16S rDNA of sequence number 3.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
