PURPOSE: A humidifier is provided to prevent the inflow of dust and other foreign substances into the humidifier by not exposing an inlet and an outlet to the outside when the humidifier is not in use.;CONSTITUTION: A humidifier comprises a housing(11), a cover unit(12), and an opening and closing device. The housing comprises an inlet for the inflow of air and an outlet for the outflow of humidified air. The cover unit opens and closes the inlet and outlet altogether.
