PURPOSE: A purifying method of an acetone is provided to remarkably remove methanol in acetone during a process manufacturing an acetone and phenol in a cumene, to have a low energy consumption and to not need an additional process using zeolite.;CONSTITUTION: A purifying method of an acetone comprises: a step of obtaining oxidation and decomposition of a cumene to obtain an acetone fraction(4a) and phenol(4b); a step of transferring the acetone fraction to a first distillation column(500), separating acetone(5a) to an upper part, and separating residual acetone fraction to a lower part; a step of separating a water layer(6b) in the residual acetone fraction except for the acetone and transferring to a second distilling column(70); and a step of separating and removing methanol from the second distilling column.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
