METHOD FOR CLUSTER HEAD ELECTION IN SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A cluster head selecting method within a sensor network is provided to select a cluster head by using the location information of sensor nodes. CONSTITUTION: A sensor network system determines a center position of a sensor network by using positions of all sensor nodes in an initial data transmission period(S210). The sensor network system divides areas of the sensor network by using the center position(S220). The sensor network system detects a sensor node which includes a minimum distance value between the sensor nodes(S230). The sensor network system selects the detected sensor node as a cluster head.
