INCIDENT WAVE SWITCHING DEVICE FOR SOUND INSULATION PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT CAPABLE OF REDUCING THE NOISE GENERATED FROM A NOISE SOURCE IN A VESSEL

PURPOSE: An incident wave switching device for sound insulation efficiency improvement is provided to reduce the noise generated from the inside of a vessel, thereby improving the habitability in the vessel and reduce the effects on the crew of the vessel when the vessel sails.;CONSTITUTION: An incident wave switching device for the sound insulation efficiency improvement includes an outer wall(110), an inner wall(140) and multiple incident wave switching units(120). The outer and inner walls are combined with multiple steel decks(300) and classified based on a noise source(200). The multiple incident wave switching units are arranged with a space from the outer wall and protruded perpendicular or at a specific angle to the inner wall to switch the vibration direction of the noise from the noise source. The gaps among the multiple incident wave switching units are determined based on the waves of the noise sources. The lengths of the multiple incident wave switching units are formed over half the length in between the outer and inner walls.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
