PURPOSE: A backlight assembly and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to supply the light of uniform chromaticity to a light guide plate.;CONSTITUTION: A light emitting unit generates first light. A chromaticity changing unit(260) receives the first light. The chromaticity changing unit changes the chromaticity of the first light to generate the light of uniform chromaticity.
