PACKET DATA NETWORK GATEWAY AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR CHANGING PCC RULE BASED ON ACCESS NETWORK AND METHOD FOR THEREOF

PURPOSE: A packet data network gateway changing a PCC(Policy and Charging Control) policy according to connection networks, a mobile communication system thereof, and a method thereof are provided to change the PCC of a previous connection network into a policy of PCC corresponding to a changed connection network by searching for the PCC policy differently set according to each connection network. CONSTITUTION: When a terminal device is connected to an LTE(Long Term Evolution) network, an S-GW(Serving-GateWay)(320) processes a call of the terminal device in the LTE network. If the terminal device is connected to a WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) network, an SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node)(230) processes the call of the terminal device in the WCDMA network. A PDN-GW(Packet Data Network-GateWay)(350) sets a PCC policy corresponding to a property of each connection network for the terminal device. If the connection network for the terminal device is changed, the PDN-GW changes a PCC policy into a PCC policy corresponding to the changed connection network.
