PURPOSE: A steel cooling device for a pressure vessel is provided to improve the hydrogen induced cracking resistance of steels by preventing the pearlite bend of the steels and to increase low temperature toughness by reducing a grain size of the steels.;CONSTITUTION: A steel cooling device for a pressure vessel comprises a body(110), one or more nozzles, a nitrogen feeding part(130), and a control part(140). The body is installed on a transfer line for transferring heat-treated steels(10), and forms a space part with an open bottom. One or more nozzles are installed on the top of the space part, and spraying holes are formed on the bottom thereof. The nitrogen feeding part feeds liquefied nitrogen to the nozzles. The control part controls the operation of the nitrogen feeding part, and sprays downward the liquefied nitrogen through the spraying holes in order to forcibly cool the steels.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (130) Nitrogen feeding part; (140) Control part; (30) Heat treatment furnace
