PURPOSE: An objective lens for an optical pick-up and an optical pick-up apparatus including the same are provided to form a light side lens surface and a disc side lens surface facing a disc, thereby changing a light path change structure in the outer area of a valid area.;CONSTITUTION: A light source generates light for recording or reproducing information in a disc(D). The light source includes a laser diode for generating light. A beam splitter(30) reflects at least a part of the light emitted from the light source to an objective lens(40). The beam splitter penetrates at least a part of the light reflected from the disc using an optical detector(60). A collimating lens is arranged between the beam splitter and the objective lens. The collimating lens converts the light emitted from the light source into collimated light. The objective lens focuses the light emitted from the light source on the disc.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
