PURPOSE: A method for preparing a porous particle and a method for manufacturing a superhydrophobic coating layer using the same are provided to remove organic particles through a low temperature process and to obtain porous particles without energy consumption and yield reduction. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a porous particle comprises: a step of forming a polar solution containing a polymer particle and a metal oxide particle(S100); a step of emulsifying the polar solution into a non-polar solution and forming a droplet(S110); a step of removing a polar solvent contained in the droplet and forming a fine powder complex containing the polymer particle and the metal oxide particle(S120); and a step of removing the polymer particle contained in the fine powder complex and forming a porous particle with pores(S130). The polymer particle is one or more polymers and block copolymers selected from a group consisting of polystyrene, polyimide, polyacrylate, polycarbonate, polyimidazole, polyethylene oxide, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyethylene glycol, and derivatives thereof.
