PURPOSE: A coating method of a metal connector for solid oxide fuel cells is provided to prevent chrome-volatilization at a high temperature by forming a protection layer which consists of cobalt oxide(Co3O4) on the surface of a metal connector and to obtain oxidation stability at high temperatures. CONSTITUTION: A coating method of a metal connector for solid oxide fuel cells comprises a step of forming a cobalt compound solution by using LiCoO2(S101); a step of dipping the metal connector in the cobalt compound solution(S103); a step of forming cobalt on the metal connector by electroplating(S105). In the step of forming the cobalt compound solution, LiCoO2 is dissolved by sulfuric acid solution(H2SO4).
