PURPOSE: An ultrasonic diagnosis device and a diagnosing method thereof are provided to reduce time and effort for designating a stored part by storing predetermined parts of an outline for transmitting and receiving domains. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic probe(2) transmits and receives an ultrasonic wave to a subject. A magnetic sensor(10) detects a magnetic field generated by a magnetic field generating unit(11) formed with magnetic field generating coils. A signal detected by the magnetic sensor is inputted to a display controller(5). An echo data processor(4) performs processing for generating an ultrasonic image of echo data outputted from a transmitting-receiving unit(3). A motion unit(7) comprises a keyboard and a pointing device for an administrator to input information. A controller(8) reads a control program stored in a hard disk(9).
