META-ATOMS HAVING NEGATIVE PERMEABILITY AND METAMATERIALS INCLUDING THE META-ATOMS

PURPOSE: A meta atom having negative permeability and a meta material including the same are provided to implement the structure of a plate by reducing the effects of an electromagnetic wave to a polarization state and an incidence angle. CONSTITUTION: A first conducting plate(320) is adhered to one side of a dielectric substrate(310). The first conducting plate forms circular inducing current according to an electromagnetic wave. A second conducting plate(330) is adhered to the other side of the dielectric substrate. The second conducting plate forms the inducing current in a direction opposite to the inducing current of the first conducting plate. The first conducting plate includes a center part in the shape of a cavity.
