PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of titanium dioxide nanoparticles for dye-sensitized solar cells is provided to mass produce titanium dioxide nanoparticles in a microwave reactor in a rapid synthesis time by a one-pot process and to control the size and shape of the titanium dioxide nanoparticles by controlling the amount of base additives. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of titanium dioxide nanoparticles for dye-sensitized solar cells comprises the following steps: mixing titanium precursors with base additives in an alcohol solvent with a molar ratio of 10:1-10 moles; and performing a reaction for the obtained solution from the first step in a high pressure microwave reactor. The manufacturing method additionally includes the following step: adding acid to the mixed solution of the alcohol solution, the titanium precursor, and the base additive in order to control the pH of the solution to be 1-7. The base additive is TMAH(tetrametylammonium hydroxide) or TBAH(tetrabutylammonium hydroxide). The reaction is performed at 150-250 deg. Celsius for 2-6 hours in the high pressure microwave reactor with an output of 150-500W.
