PURPOSE: An apparatus for shredding and compressing papers is provided to jet water to the shredded papers in a collecting box in shredding, thereby preventing indoor contamination due to the rise of dust from the collecting box.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for shredding and compressing papers includes a main body(10), a shredding part(20), a collecting box(30), a compressing part(40), and a water jetting part(50). The shredding part inside the main body shreds the papers. The collecting box at the lower side of the shredding part collects the shredded papers from the shredding part. The compressing part compresses the shredded papers in the collecting box. The water jetting part jets water inside the collecting box.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
