PURPOSE: A black box system for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to implement a black box for a vehicle at a low cost by including the black box which carries out a first navigation calculation and an accident analyzing device which carries out a second navigation calculation.;CONSTITUTION: A black box system for a vehicle comprises a black box(100) and an accident analyzing device(200). The black box comprises a first navigation calculation unit(150) and firstly carries outs navigation calculation to correct errors of an output value in an inertial sensor unit(120) mounted on the vehicle.
