B4C BURNABLE POISON FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE GAS-COOLED REACTOR

PURPOSE: A B4C burnable poison rod for a high temperature gas furnace is provided to improve core combustion efficiency by controlling poisoning amount and magnetic shielding effect independently precisely and easily. CONSTITUTION: A burnable poison rod(100) arranges a mixture of a boron carbide(B4C) and a graphite into a graphite(110) compact. The mixture is located in the center of the graphite compact. The mixture and the graphite have cylindrical shapes.
