NOVEL STRAIN, NANNOCHLOROPSIS SP., WITH EXCELLENT GROWTH RATE, AND A USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A novel strain, Nannochloropsis sp., with excellent growth rate is provided to ensure excellent salt resistance, and to be used as feed in a fish farming industry by containing rich amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids.;CONSTITUTION: Nannochloropsis sp.(KCTC 11963BP) microalgae for culturing rotifer have excellent growth rate. The rotifer is Brachionus plicatilis. The microalgae enhance the content of amino acids and unsaturated fatty acid which are necessary for growing the rotifer. The microalgae have algae resistance at a salinity of 15-35psu. A composition for feed for the rotifer contains the microalgae or a culture medium thereof. A formulation for aquaculture feed contains the composition as an active ingredient.
