SYSTME FOR PROVIDING UPDATED DATA OF RSS CONTENTS USING USER AGENT AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system for providing update data of RSS(Really Simple Syndication) content by using user agent information and a method thereof are provided to supply contents, which are renewed after a time point which a client finally confirms the RSS content, thereby reducing network traffic of a server. CONSTITUTION: A feed history recording unit(330) records content request time of a feed reader client by connecting client information which distinguishes the feed reader client. An HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) analysis unit(320) receives an HTTP request message from the feed reader client and extracts the client information. A feed updating unit(340) generates feed information of updating content which is updated after the content request time corresponding to the client information. An HTTP response unit(350) transmits the feed information of the updated content to the feed reader client through an HTTP response message.
