PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing metal-graphene nanocomposite from graphite is provided to directly manufacture metal-graphene nanocomposite from graphite by irradiating light and using surfactant without graphite oxidation and reduction of the oxidized graphite. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing metal-graphene nanocomposite from graphite comprises the following steps: ultrasonic wave processing the graphite powder underwater; and adding surfactant and metal ion and manufacturing metal-graphene nanocomposite by irradiating light. The particle size of the graphite powder is 1-20 um. The surfactant is one or more selected from sodium dodecyl sulfonate, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, dioctyl sodium sulfo succinate and sodium oleate. The metal of the metal ion is selected from gold (Au), silver (Ag), palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt), copper (Cu), molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), ruthenium (Ru) and rubidium (Rh). 0.1-10 parts by weight of the surfactant is used based on 100 parts by weight of the graphite powder solution. 0.9-1.0 parts by weight of the metal ion is used based on 100 parts by weight of the graphite.
